Meeting customer challenges with innovative solutions

Japhy

Japhy is a startup that is now 2 years old. It is a brand of food for dogs sold exclusively on the internet through a subscription system. Japhy wants to be natural, close to its customers, offering a personalized food based on the profile of the animal, all delivered at home. I am a product manager, my job is mainly to optimize the existing product range and to develop new products. I am also in charge of all the goodies that we offer every month to our customers and that's why I called OVRSEA.

OVRSEA is in charge of the transport of all our goodies from China to our warehouses, by air and sea.

Before working with OVRSEA, I was working with another company that was not very modern and whose processes were much slower (I once had to wait a week for a simple quote request). I had few updates, the information was not very relevant, the communication was fragmented and the quotes were not clear, it was not ideal. I was new to the world of transportation and the lack of pedagogy of my interlocutors did not help me, the complex information was not popularized and the prices seemed very expensive.

The first thing I liked about OVRSEA is the better traceability thanks to the tracking link which allows to follow the goods in real time on the platform. This allows me to better anticipate the arrival of products to warn the warehouse at destination. It is much easier for me to organize myself because I am better accompanied, better advised and therefore less stressed. Everything is more transparent, I know exactly what the amount of each invoice is.

The platform

The platform is very well done and practical. You can follow your goods in real time, which is very reassuring. You can also communicate directly with the OVRSEA operators via the discussion interface on the platform. When I'm not connected, I'm notified by email as soon as I have a new message, so I never miss the information. The fact that I can load all the documents in one place, sort them by file and by type of transport is also very practical. I've had a situation where I couldn't find a document in my own folders on my computer. I went directly to the OVRSEA platform because I knew it would be there. Everything is neat and organized.

I am regularly on the phone with the OVRSEA team, who advise and support me on a daily basis. Our relationship is very pleasant and professional, the team puts all its will to advise me as well as possible. Requests for quotes are handled within the hour and, if there is any problem, the teams act and solve it very quickly.

If I had to summarize OVRSEA in a few words, I would say:

Speed. Speed in receiving quotes, in the reactivity of the teams, in the ultra flexible platform...Accompaniment. Daily accompaniment of the teams who do everything to make me discover the platform, to familiarize me with the language, the formalities of transport, etc.Modernity. Just like the platform, which is ideal, reassuring and easy to access.
